Cut the tube with a tube cutter and not a hacksaw Ensure the ends of the tube are cut square De-burr the tube Insert the nut followed by the olive on the tube Insert the tube into the fitting Tighten the nut on socket threads by hand Complete the assembly by tightening the nut with a spanner
